The InnovatieTeam
Bringing baggage handling at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to the next level
The
InnovatieTeam is a joint initiative of
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol,
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines,
Vanderlande Industries and QuinTech, aimed at delivering continuous and integral baggage handling innovations at the airport. Within the InnovatieTeam we designed the baggage handling system of the year 2020 (
theCube) and optimized the platform baggage handling process for narrow-body aircraft (
DNA). Spin-offs from these studies are currently being implemented by the participants.
